About
Born and raised in the south, Maurice Mangum is a songwriting extension of what started with his grandfather’s love for southern gospel bluegrass, and his 1932 Kay Mandolin.
Maurice’s journey has been a winding road of touring rock bands, indie alt-rock bands, and solo performances. Barely a week has gone by since he was 14 that he wasn’t on stage in front of a microphone.
He’s opened for a wide range of respected peers like John Mayer, The Cult, Sister Hazel, Annie Lennox, Maroon 5, and dozens more.
His latest project, produced by John Kurzweg ( Multi-platium award-winning producer: Jewel, Scott Stapp, The Villians) is rooted in all the passionate storytelling and powerful voice that have helped make Maurice Mangum a career professional artist.
